SPID - System for Pavement Infrastructure Diagnosis

The project was prepared by the Road and Bridge Research Institute, supported by leading national research centers. The idea of the project is centered around the pursuit of advanced research and development on quality control technologies and materials used in road infrastructure. This objective will be achieved through the implementation and development of innovative NDT methods. To ensure the adequate development and high-quality research, the Centre for Development of Non-Destructive Research will be established, giving the opportunity to exchange views between researchers from different centers and the creation of new research projects.

Within the project, the following tools are to be purchased:

  • Laser deflectometer,
  • Dynamic deflectometer HWD,
  • System of automatic evaluation of the surface condition,
  • 3D radar system,
  • CPX system for pavement noise measurement,
  • Road drill
  • Radar system for bridge measurements,
  • System for research and analysis of bridge structure.

Project co-funded by European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Programme Innovative Economy. (Project No. POIG.02.01.00-14-064/09-00 "The mobile laboratory for the non-destructive pavement characteristics quantification")
